The Gypsy Twitchers ?? Albert and Eleanor Wright… two passionate (bordering on obsessive) birdo’s who are fortunate enough to each have in each other, a partner with the same passion for nature and the outdoors. Since 2007 we have been travelling in Australia, steadily increasing our Australian Bird List and at the same time capturing numerous images of Australia's landscape and wildlife (in particular avarian variety). This is not a commercial website, it is to share our travel images, experiences and ideas with you.
In case you are wondering about the Gypsy Twitcher name ?? The "Gypsy" part refers to our nomadic lifestyle in our 13.5' Trackmaster caravan and the "Twitcher" is a synonym often applied to a birdwatcher but more appropriately describes birdwatchers of the obsessive variety who travel long distances to tick off a new or rare bird on their list.

Included are some of the harder to see bird species such as Grasswrens and many of easily recognisable more common species.
